Guy Stuart successfully launched Tavistock Tours in 1990. Originally Tavistock was created as an incoming Tour Operator handling overseas clients who were bringing tour groups to the UK.

Like all good tour operators we grew and changed successfully navigating around the often unpredictable global market forces. 

Expanding the team lead to the arrival of new team members Kate and Duncan in 1994. As a result a new dimension to the business model was developed by entering the vibrant domestic coach operator market.

We soon discovered what fun, inventive and social animals coach operators were. It was such pleasure working with them that we migrated our business focus over a period of time and our domestic sales volumes significantly overtook our incoming business sales.

in 2004 driven by family needs and necessity we downsized business operations for nine years. We tacitly retained a few hand picked and loyal clients to continue developing innovative and unusual tours that would create sales and maximise profits for our collection of UK coach operator partners.

Two years ago was the time to crank up the volume of the business again and we moved location from the London area and opened new offices in the seaside town of Hythe in Kent. 

Our passion for fun and creating the unexpected prevailed and we have now re branded Tavistock Tours UK - our exciting and fun concept of our Tours Laboratory is bubbling away every day.
